Read-Aloud Anyone?

For the benefit of Ms. Kirby's 5th grade class at LB and/or any other class and/or any nieces and/or nephew who may stop by the blog, here is a movie of me reading a wonderful book from England entitled The Gruffalo. Click and enjoy.

(No, it's not a science book, but remember I came from the land of third grade teachers before moving to the lab.)

Sorry, this is the small, low-quality version. If our connection improves, I will replace it with the high quality version.

Hey Read Aloud Friend! What a great story! We were cracking up!

Isabelle wants to know if the Gruffalo actually had an orange?

Gabe is wondering if the Gruffalo is a mix of a buffalo and a "Gruf"?

Dwight thinks this was the funniest read aloud he has EVER heard!

Were you reading out loud to other children? - Emma Rose

Kristi even liked how you sometimes did the wrong voice.

Is the Gruffalo a mythical creature? - Aaron

Evan thinks you should choose a book with fewer voices.

Halle wants to know what YOU would do if you actually met a gruffalo.

We loved hearing and seeing you, Mr. Lebo. You should definitely read that book to your classes over there in Madagascar.

No, seriously, what is a gruffalo anyway? I think that we read a book in Spanish class that had the same "Everyone is scared of me, why don't you walk ahead and see?" type of thingamabobbyjigger.

Weird...

Hey Friend,

That was an amazing read aloud. It had my own kids, Bella, Aba, and Joe mesmerized (And that's a big task)!
They all miss you. Joe said, "Mr.Lebo is the best science teacher!"
Bella loved the voices. She said, "That she loved the way each character had a different voice." Aba said, "Where is Mr. Lebo anyway?" Hurry up and get back here. Everyone misses you.
